Overview
Hisense submitted for a digital refresh of their website exclusive to the Middle East region. While the object of the exercise was site reconstruction for mobile responsiveness, brand alignment as the official sponsor of FIFA World Cup 2022 was appended. The dossier provisioned by the partner included documents from the existing site, including HTML and CSS files.
SparxIT completed the project ahead of schedule. Data was obtained, and the WordPress site was launched using a quality-first approach.
The Challenges
- The website, as mentioned above, was solicited to be mobile responsive, multi-platform, and multi-browser compatible. Mozilla Firefox was kept as the frame of reference browser to attain accurate layouts.
- Given the prominence of the Arabic language in the Middle East, the website required support for Right-to-Left (RTL) content. The RTL structure further aggravated the responsiveness when transitioning from English to Arabic.
- During FIFA 2022, high user traffic was anticipated on the website. Thus, assurance of a seamless site functionality as footfalls spiked posed another pressing challenge.
- Site migration to a new hosting environment was appended and sought for a thorough phase-to-phase-wise strategy.
The Solution
At the onset, SparxIT devised a rigorous schematic for site migration, hosting platform upgrade, and the setup of a robust architecture. The following deciphers the project schema for each build.
01 UI/UX Design
For the part on brand alignment with FIFA sponsorship, the UI of the existing site was revamped with Figma. The wireframe was first devised, and the theme palette of Hisense was reorganized alongside FIFA’s brand element. Elemental restructuring of tabs, buttons, and content was pinned down for optimum performance and better SERP results.

Color Palate
The interface follows a schematic of white, black, and a gradient of blue and cyan consistent with the logo in congruence with the brand identity. Elements counting the banner, navigation, and typography were realigned to this approach.
Typography / font
Hisense Sans Alfabet, given its clean, minimalist design and exceptional readability, was used on the site to render a modern identity to the website identity. Its geometric precision complemented the visual aesthetics, reflecting innovation and sophistication while ensuring a cohesive, user-friendly experience.
02 Wordpress Development
Standard WordPress coding procedure was adhered to by implementing the HTML codebase into a responsive theme and ensuring RTL compatibility for the Arabic language. In addition, the development team ensured the website maintained the best rating for Google Page Speed, Pingdom, and all tools alike, optimizing performance across all devices.
SparxIT delivered the website on the client's AWS server, with the migration performed in a single effort. Post-deployment, SparxIT provided a one-time virtual training session to ensure Hisense's team could manage the site in the future.

The Technologies
Reconstruction for mobile responsiveness prompted the need for a scalable website architecture. WordPress, widely acknowledged for its flexibility, was thus decided upon for this project to ascertain these objectives met with efficiency.
